• It's not an Adam ....so what is it ? er... help ?

  ........got this puppy back from my watch guy today, ....although this is a photo from when I got it.....and I took myself over to the catalogs and diligently scrolled through looking for a match ....and thought I had it in Adam.....but then I looked closer ....everything matched ....except the numbers arranigment .....Adam has them at 12, 3,6 and 9 whereas this one is evne numbers, 12, 2, 4, 6, 8........

I have on it a peccary (wild boar) gray strap which appears to be a reasonably good fascimile of the original gray calf strap.   My husband needs and everyday "beater" watch; preferably waterproof. Last Xmas, I purchased Invicta Men's 8926C Pro Diver, which arrived broken.then purchased him the Casio Men's AMW320R-1EV Marine Ana-Digi Dive, which lasted 10 months before one hand fell off. We loved the styling of both.NOW, I need to get him another. WOULD SEIKO BE A BETTER BET? I know they are a cost a little more $$ but ........

  yes, i know what you're thinking! this must be in the wrong forum, if not the wrong website!!! but seriously, did you know that fashion designers charge 10 to 12 times the material [edit] value of their handbags? makes me wonder just how big this over-valuation is on certain high end watches???........
