• Any advice on strap switching?

  I've got my SMP on its bracelet, though I just picked up a strap for it.I'll be getting a spring bar tool in the mail soon and wanted to see if you guys had any tips on how to avoid scratches. I've heard the scotch tape move- putting tape over the lugs. Are there any other dangers to look out for?I've got a rubber strap with deployment - though I really want to pick up some NATO's!........

• My first Swiss movement Accutron

  The initial attraction of this M7 Swiss movement caliber 214 Bulova Accutron was the extensive use of lume on the dial at each hour and minute marker.(BTW the lum still glows brightly) The watch was listed as non working but the problem turned out to be a missing battery cover contact spring. • Loose crown problem

  Can anyone please advise me on how to cure my loose crown problem???whilst setting the date function using 11 o'clock to 1 o'clock back and forth the crown unscrews itself rending the back and forth motion impossible.can the crown be 'glued'? - must be a common problem!aja........
