• Hamilton Drake stopped working! Did I overwind it?

  I don't know what I did! I decided to take the bezel off my Hamilton Drake to see if the crystal had darkened. I opened it up just fine but after I put it back on and wound it, it didn't start ticking. I have it 10 gentle winds and nothing happening. What did I do? I used a small pocket knife blade to open it, I was gentle as I am with my other watches. The first time I wound it it worked like a c........

  Rik,I guess this is A stupid question, I have an E serial number Sub Date 16610, Ive had this watch for about 6 months now and the watch is running spot on. Its winds really well and no trouble at all, Now that being said do I service the watch or wait a couple more months and then service? I am sure this is a very common question.........
