• Newbie first post - repair question

  I've had a Seamaster Chronometer that's about 5 years old. Really, ever since I got it it's lost about a minute a week, about five minutes a month. I love the watch and wear it almost daily, but it's starting to drive me crazy that a Timex is more accurate.Considering its age, is it time to get it to a pro to have it "maintained"?   I had a little success on eBay this weekend. I was searching to find a vintage Benrus watch to add to my little collection and I found a decent one with the original bracelet. I found this:It was listed at $10.00. I figured I may as well get it because it would go with my collection well.
