• Would you buy a quartz if it "swept"

  So Boscoe's thread on quartz got me thinking. What is it about the auto's I love so much. Yes, there's a bunch of small reasons. But when I look at them on the wrist the glaring reason is I love the clean sweeping motion my auto's second hands give me. I don't like the 'click, click' of the quartz second hand.So here's my question. If someone made a quartz watch that was identical to it's auto ........

  I'm looking for a men's wristwatch that (other than telling me the time) will function as a compass and stop watch.
