Hi Folks: I know this must seem like a rather obvious question, but a comment made on anthor thread got me thinking. In that case a comment was made about taking the "slack" out of the works when setting the rate and time.In our modern day of "quartz crystal" watches I think we have become used to simply popping the crown and setting the time, which is good enough for most applications, right?
