  During my visit with A. Lange & S?hne at SIHH last week, I had an opportunity to snap some images in and around the booth, including a few of the new timepieces. The big story this year is the brand’s 165th anniversary and the three Homage to F.A. Lange pieces in Lange’s proprietary honey gold. The new Annual Calendar was also very well received. • Are Hamilton boxes worth anything? No, not the fancy presentation box, the cardboard?

  I got to snooping around in some old boxes mainly from Grandpa and Grandma, and lookie what I found! A Hamilton watch box! Felt something inside it, sorta heavy...like a watch! so I opened it up and....!****, just a bunch of cheap costume jewelry, a Seiko and a Timex. Ah well, can't win 'em all. So anyway, am I just keeping some scrap cardboard around, or does a cardboard box with 'Hamilton' on it........

• Luminox Model 1837 Day Issue

  My recently purchased Luminox Field Watch is great except for the fact that it has the days in english and I think also german. For example last night at midnight it switched to FRI in the day window and then switched to FRE at around 2 A.M. I bought this watch on the internet. Did I get a non-U.S. model. If this is all normal I'll keep it, but I'd rather there was a way to make it say FRI ins........
