Well, I am considering purchasing a 16613, a watch that I have liked since being brainwashed by omegaHere are the specifics:- Y471XXXX serial number- SEL with holes in the side (I always thought SEL meant no holes in the side, but the seller told me SEL really means a one piece end link (which makes sense))- $4,799It looks great and was recently serviced.Any opinions? Cleaning a dial.
My first vintage watch that got me interested in collecting was a Wittnauer auto with a AS 1361 11arg movement which dates to some time in the mid 50's I believe. When I got this watch I never knew about restoring, servicing, cleaning, dial refinishing, replacing the hands, the list goes on.
