Case Restoration Question(s)
Last month I was able to get hold of one of the rarer Elgin models from the 1950s. It's one of the ones where the back is held on by 4 screws, but the shape, and especially the movement are not often seen - the 19j 676. These two are my favorites until I get that Lum-Tec. Other than these two Zeno's I have a few Citizen Eco Drives and an Invitca. These are the only ones I ever put on anymore. I really want the Lum-Tec M61 but missed out on that. A Lum-Tec is in my furture very soon............

i have a replica, kinetic watch. it is a self winding watch with date,month,day of the week and 24 hr time aswell in smaller dials. the other day i was setting the time because it stopped as usual but i heard a click, felt some resistance and now to crown wont change the time or the date. it just spins with nothing happening. Help with smoke smell
Guys & gals, I've tried it all - lemon juice, Febreeze, baking soda dry & in a paste, even put the strap in a dryer sheet then sealed in a zip lock bag overnight.but I can't get the smell of cigarette smoke out of one strap. I searched the thread where Scott (timesofplenty) asked for info to get what I tried already. Is there anything else you can suggest?........
