  Auction season is upon us and starting off the year with a bang is the upcoming Sotheby’s Hong Kong sale on October 6th. This year the auction features a variety of watches from modern to vintage (including this awesome Patek Philippe reference 2523 that we released here). But one noticeable change is happening in the selection of modern timepieces at auction – a name we here at HODINK........

• Red?

  Did someone change the background of the Omega forum to Red? If so, can a user change it to something else (personalized settings)? The red is tough on the eyes, and reminds me to much of a stop light. ........

• Watch adjustment varies geographically???

  Okay, I'm NO watch expert, but I was reading a listing on Ebay for a RR-grade pocket watch, and the seller offered to adjust the watch for best operation in the geographical location of the buyer. Surely regional variations in magnetic & gravitational fields shouldn't affect an otherwise well adjusted high quality movement, should they???Regards,Tim........
