  This is my first post so I thought I would introduce myself.My first nice watch was a gold automatic wittnauer that was presented to me in 1980 for being paper carrier of the year.   Well, I'm sure most of us know why that is to begin with, but it doesn't hurt to talk it over once in a while. Watches are have very precise movements with tight tolerances, and just like any moving mechanical object, it should have proper lubrication and be free of any debris. Why do you think your car has a few liters of oil and a filter?Ever since I got this watch it had very hard hand winding.........
