• vintage Omega Seamaster 300m in pieces( what is it worth?)

  Gentlemen,I am normally on the omega side but I do love Omega. I stumbled across a early 60s Seamster 300m(thin bezel) in pieces so to speak. The case and movement are good and running, no band, no dial, hands or bezel bakelite. I know the the guy, who is the original owner. He gave me the long story on why it is in this condition. I have sourced a dial and hands from Omega, I can live without the........

  Now I think it was Rick who started a thread about crashing prices last month, .....and I didn't want to hi-jack the thread.......but it seems to me that I have heard recently that the USA watches are starting to command higher prices in Europe......and that thye are recognizing the quality of some of our homegrown watches ......so that would have to be some seriously vintage watches as the ubiqui........

  Noticed today that Belk's carries tag heuer watches. The link series appealed to me. The calibre 5 auto and the link quartz watch had a good feel to me. Does anyone own one or anyone have any experience on these watches?........
