1962 Bulova just arrived
This M2 Bulova automatic arrived in the mail today - an eBay purchase ($35). I'm very pleased with its condition. The seller says it has been recently serviced and it does seem to run just fine. We'll see.The seller had it listed as a Squadron model but I believe it is a Jet Clipper it is 17J, water & shock-proof, anti-magnetic with 10K RGP bezel. The hour markers and "Bulova" signature are ........
Best bang for the buck
well a co worker walked over to my desk and saw me on the forums. And said dam what is it with you and watches. So we started to chat he was looking into buying 2 watches and at work I'm the watch guy so he came to me. He asked me what would i recommed. I gave him a puzzled look and he said why don't you post it. He wants to buy 2 one for work to beat up and a nicer watch for the weekend. work wat........
Mechanical watch accuracy
I am new mechanical watches, and recently acquired two - an Omega Seamaster Aquaterra, and a Swiss Army Divemaster 500 Mechanical.The Omega accuracy is amazing while on my wrist. Over the course of certain weeks, there is no discernable gain/loss (less than 1 second). When I am not wearing it, it goes on an Orbita winder, and it will loose 3-5 seconds per day. It looses a similar amount of time........
