  Hey, guys,Here's a different twist on leather straps. There is a limited number of choices with leather watch straps. Once you get past the dye color, the stitch color and type of animal (cow, crocodile, alligator, ostrich, etc.), you've pretty much exhausted your palate. Of course, there's "vintage" straps from old ammo pouches, etc., but I'm talking about the choice of "texture" imparted by diff........

  Just wondering is it acceptable to use a quartz watch's time as the benchmark for seeing if your self winding watch is gaining or losing seconds?I know that using an atomic clock off the net is the usual way.........
