  I dropped my Hamilton and it shattered the crystal as well as second hand fell off. It was sent to Hamilton for repair and they quoted me with $525 for a $1400 watch........CrazyThe cost included polishing, reglulation, new crystal, and others. Luckily, I don't have to pay full $525 to get it serviced.Lesson of the day. Don't ever drop your watch on concrete floor!!........

  Anyone have any experience with Raymond Weil?In a moment of weakness I snapped up a big date chrono that I thought was rather attractive. Comments elsewhere have been generally positive about this brand. I can always send it back if it turns out to be a turkey. Thanks for comments. -Pete........
