  Hi All,My first time posting here. I'm looking at purchasing a custom made watch with a Patek 1907 original movement. Can I get peoples thoughts on this, is this a good idea, will it hold its value? • What do you do about scratches that bug you?

  I recently picked up a used Oris BC3, and it has a couple of spots with minor scratches. I was going to just leave them, but the more I wear the watch the more I like it, and the more I want to do something about them. So, based on the photos below, is there any home remedy that doesn't involve abrasive pastes or polishes, or should I just break down and pay a jeweler to do it? If I go that rou........
