  I must have had my eyes closed for years, I mean I had seen them, but for some reason I was always looking for something else, a Speedy 145.012 for instance.How could I have missed the beauty of a vintage Omega SM300? I think I'm in love.....At all stated last weekend when I was checking through a couple of websites and really began to realise the watch for what it was - a total timeless classic. ........

• Anyone Familiar with Asian ETA Automatic 2813 Movement

  I am curious if anyone is familiar with the Asian ETA Automatic 2813 Movement with respect to: a. durability (as in will it fall apart within a short period)? b. accuracy (is it within the typical automatic norm)? c. the number of beats (is it a 21,600 or a 28,800)? This caliber seems to be thrown into inexpensive replicas. Thanks.........
