• Benrus Movement

  Hi I picked up a Benrus at an Estate sale. It is in need of repair. I know there are several Benrus collectors here so I am hoping I can get some info. The movement is a swiss, unadjusted 17 jewels model BB4. It also has the numbers 4 X 7 and 26. At best it needs a new stem and crown and at worst a movement replacement. Is there a parts source and/or movement available or perhaps a different Benru........

  First off, the more I wear this huge (202.5 gram) hunk of metal the more I like it.However I'll start with what I don't like:1. The chrono second hand is just a hair off and its so slight I'm not sure it even is.2. The polished hands?...mixed feelings on that, but they lume better than one might expect.3.
