  It all started when I was ten.( 1977) I remember lusting after a Timex LCD digital watch that my friend Ricky had gotten for this birthday.I had had wind up watches but this was NEW. My dad had always been a pseudo watch guy and recently gotten a Seiko LED watch that amazed everyone.( he still has it)Anyhow for my tenth birthday I got the Timex!   I haven't read Consumer Reports in years, but my dear mother dropped off some recent copies. Besides the usual Apple, AT&T, and American car bashing , they had a note about the quality of this "precision watch".They actually have a point on this one........
