  I have a SS Sub 1998 model. Mint condition: last year had it cleaned, new main spring installed, and case/bracelet polished to remove any small scratches and scuffs. I war this watch in the ocean (its a diving watch for pete's sake). I never turn the dial, because I have no reason to. A friend was looking at my watch yesterday and noticed it was "hard to turn". I checked it out, and WOW it req........
