• WOOHOO!!! New Seamaster

  Went and did it! Bought number two (2254.50) from our AD...wife's mad but hey I'm working on it and after I heard they were being discontinued I had to finally get it...for now I'm happy. Sorry about the pic size but photobucket won't let me resize them it shuts me down when I try.Here it is...The new and old...........

• Mellow Yellow!

  Orient Yellow Mako: the dial is amazing. In dim light it looks mat yellow, but in strong light it has a radiant sunburst pattern. The closest thing I can think of is maybe lemon colored satin or silk.Odd thing about the picture: the hands do pick up a tint from the dial (just like the hands on orange dialed watches can look slightly pinkish in color), but the hands are not that yellow to the naked........

• My first AD experience.

  Heads up ! :Pretty long story..I apologize in advance if the story seem like I'm just blahhhing I really got into watches about a two years ago. But I never actually got the chance to check out the watches in person for some reason. One of my favorite TZ thread of all time is the "Arrogant and rude sales people" and it took a guy almost 40 years to get his first Patek. I genuinely enjoy reading........
