• Seiko classic 6105 (pic)

  I was browsing watches online and came across this old Seiko from the 1970s. I might have to change my opinion that nothing good came out of the 70s, as this is one very nice looking watch. It is a timeless design that looks good even today. I wish I could buy a new one, or could find a maker that makes one similar.From what I have read about this model, the movement is one of the best.Love that s........

• Update, Tissot Seastar automatic won't wind!

  I got a call from a jewelry store that sent my watch out to there repair man, they told me it would be $375 to fix saying that the watch needs a complete overhaul and a gasket! The watch will not wind, it keeps time only by the movement of my wrist , I told them no of course considering the watch is only a $500 $650 or so watch new. Does it really need what they say? I'll be getting more quotes ........
