  Well, I pulled the trigger on two 2nd-hand PAMs while I was working in the UK last week. Man, being cooped-up in a hotel room with nothing to entertain yourself but the internet can be an expensive proposition!   Put on, or take off your watch over carpeting!! twice in the recent past I've dropped a watch while taking it out of the safe and putting it on. Luckely, over carpeting. Once with a vintage omega bumper auto, and today with a late 40's Vulcain Cricket. Wasn't so lucky about a month ago with a vintage Bulova. Dropped it in the kitchen with a CRASH..You can guess what happened to the crystal.........
