• Need advice on a recent purchase

  I recently purchased a longines grande vitesse. Unfortunately I'm finding that its bare stainless steel bezel is very easily scratched, even when simply wiping dust off of it. Is this normal for watches of this grade?I'll probably exchange the watch for something else at a local jewelry store in my area. They carry Tags, Oris, Ball, Hamiltons, Longines, and a few other brands. Can anyone make........

  I picked this up this evening NIB off the bay for $325 shipped. I've been looking for something in rose gold, and I really liked the black MOP dial & hands on this one. I'll most likely put a black croc strap on it to tone it down a notch.........

  Alright guys....so what's your favorite watch movement?It's hard for me to pin down just one....It may not be the prettiest movement out there, but the omega 3135 is tough to beat for a three-hand work horse movement:I hold the ETA 2892 based Omega 1120 movement in nearly as high regard, and have to admit it's even easier on the eyes:What say you?........
