  I've been picking up spare movements for a while, for parts and such. After painstakingly taking apart and putting back together 2 12s PW movements, I threw caution to the wind and did the same with an 8/0 sized Elgin 554. That one, I screwed up the hairspring trying to get it back between the regulator pins.Of course, these were all broken when I started (balance staffs), and so they still aren........

  I found this on the net for a reasonable price, can anyone tell from these tiny pictures if it's real or fake..?Cheers Edit: Also, if anyone know whats movement it is (ETA I suppose?) and other curiosa about the watch I would be grateful :)........

Would you please help me?Was there a ladies Ardmore watch that was chrome and rectangular with Roman numerals? The band may have been black or blue.
