  I have too many watches! Including, at last count, about 30 (vintage) Hamiltons. I haven't worn this gorgeous solid green gold cal. 986A Cushion form opening nearly often enough, so I pulled it out for today (I don't have a consistent rotation schedule).........

• How many forum readers regularly clean their watches?

  While perusing watches that were for sale on ebay I made an interesting observation that it seems like most people don't regularly clean their watches. Some of them were down right disgusting! I'm sure that watch repair people can attest to that. I was wondering how people around here were since the forum members generally treat their watches much better. Also, how do you clean them?I wash the one........

• Update on the waterproofing experiment

  A while back I treated the new strap for the ChronoCockpit.It seems to work pretty well. Near the same time I got this, I put a new strap on the 1969 Constellation day/date.Granted, it's a slightly different type of leather. I did not treat the Connie and it gets sticky and uncomfortable. The Breitling is fine though in the same conditions. I will be putting a similar strap on the Corum when i........
