recently i acquired an early 18mm omega rubber deployant. it's the butterfly type which has friction latches. it came on rather thin black rubber pieces which have a grey line painted length-wise on.in my naivety, i thought i'd just get an after-market navy blue flat rubber deployant and swap the rubber pieces over. but having searched fairly extensively, i cant find anything in navy blue, or i........
New Elgin arrival
Just won this Elgin in an e-bay auction and it just arrived. I don't know the model name or number. But the stepped bezel reminded me a little of the Hamilton Putnam, one of my grails. This one has a nickel case but does not show a lot of wear.My "winning" bid was $8.20! Postage was $8.50. It was the first time I've ever paid more for the postage then the watch!
