• 1975/6 Omega Automatic (De Ville?)

  This is the only Omega I own. I think it is simply an Omega Automatic, but it looks a lot like a De Ville. This watch is from about 1975 and was a gift to my grandfather, it is inscribed with a date on the back. I later inherited the watch without a band and bought a leather band for it.He wore the watch all the time and it certainly looks well used. The glass (sapphire?) is scratched and chip........

• New boy who needs some advise please

  Many thanks for taking the time to read my thread......presently I have a couple of omega's which have served me well but I have always wanted to own a Patek Philippe ......I have seen a couple on Chrono 24 ......one is a 3520J in France ($6020) and the other is 3923 in Germany $7678 both with dealers in fine watches. I would really value somebody who understands PP to give me some advice on these........

  I was wondering if anyone has been able to try on a Panerai that was sporting the newly designed bracelet. Are they even out yet? I currently have an 00050 with a bracelet and have to say that I love the watch but the edges can be a bit sharp on the bracelet. Let me know.........
