  I picked up an old Helvetia with the 830 movement but the movement appears to be made of copper. I have never seen this before nor would I think of copper as a material to make movements. DSCF1079a.jpg Any thoughts or info available?........

  With several members purchasing Hamilton Mt. Vernon watches, I thought you might enjoy seeing the original:New Version The original was manufactured in 1932 and only a total of 1721 were made in yellow gold filled. Movement is hand wound caliber 980 with seventeen jewels.Copy and pix not mine.........
