  Just got into the game of vintage watches.I realize I should probably have done more research but this Omega Automatic just caught my eye and stuck.Good or bad deal?Year's supposed to be 1952, W253734 case serial, W14K Gold Filled, case size 32mmx39mm and cal 342.Unfortunately can't take pictures of the movement as I don't have the tools to open it.Paid US$400 for it.The look of the watch definite........

  I'm always on the lookout for my next watch. During one of these searches I came across a Swiss Legend with a clear plastic case. What is the general consensus with plastic on watches? How does it compare to a metal case other than the obvious aesthetics? I like the different look but would be hesitant to purchase if every couple of months I would have to send the watch in for service due to c........
