  Well, though I didn't think a new watch would be ringing in the New Year, I ended up securing one final piece in the wanning hours of 2009 It's in route, and should be here Monday! Anyone care to guess what it is?........

• Cleaning up

  This may sound strange. I really do think I take good care of my watches. I use a car wax on a soft cloth the other day and applied it to one of my SS bracelets. I was very surprised at the tarnish that was removed to a clean soft cloth. Being anal, I then started doing other watches. I was again surprised at what revealed itself on a clean soft cloth. I take pains to keep my watches clean(or so ........
