• How do they make it look new?

  When buying a pre-loved omega, I've read that you can send it off for a servicing, where the watch returns "good as new". I'm asuming this servicing takes place at omega hq, but does anyone know what exactly they do to the watch? Do they replace blemished hour markers, dial features, bezels & crystalsor simply run over it with a scrub brush and give 'er an oil change? Admittedly $500 for a ser........

  I opened up my wife's Movado watch to change the battery and noticed that it says "six 6 jewels". I immediately thought that this watch might not be a real Movado, but then I see this term used all over the place online. Is this a brand or something related to the mechanism? I looked online and could not find a definite answer. Thanks in advance-oofern........
